An Afternoon of Constructive Critique & Food for Thought with Bernard Ollis

Member of the Ewart Art Prize 2010 judging panel, Bernard Ollis will lead an open critique in the Ewart Gallery. Bernard Ollis has held over 60 solo exhibitions and his work is in permanent collections of many state and regional galleries and The National Gallery, Canberra. A visiting lecturer at art schools across the world, he has been a head of Painting and Drawing at universities in Victoria, Darwin and Sydney. He recently stepped down after 11 years as the Director of the National Art School Sydney. Throughout his long and distinguished career in Art Education, Bernard has consistently critiqued students on their own work in seminar, tutorial and formal review situations. This is a unique opportunity to participate in this Master Class at the Arts Centre with other students, peers and friends.
